When users interact with the Molin AI in chat and click on links provided by the AI, specific UTM tags are automatically injected into the URLs. These tags help track the source, medium, and campaign of the traffic generated by the AI chat interactions.

Injected UTM tags

The following UTM tags are injected into the URLs:
  • utm_source: Identifies the source of the traffic. For AI chat links, this is set to molin.ai.
  • utm_medium: Identifies the medium of the traffic. For AI chat links, this is set to chat.
  • utm_campaign: Identifies the campaign associated with the traffic. For AI chat links, this is set to general.
