# Floating bar

> Embed an always-visible search-style input that lets customers ask anything from anywhere on your page.

The floating bar is an inline input that sits anywhere on your page: homepage hero, product page, or navbar. Customers type their question right there and the answer opens in the chat.

## When to use it

* **Homepage**: give visitors a way to ask anything without clicking the chat bubble.
* **Product pages**: let customers ask product-specific questions inline.
* **Help center**: turn it into your search bar.

* **Dark mode** support to match your site theme.
