# Design & branding

> Match the chatbot to your brand: name, color, profile picture, and bubble.

The Design page is where you make Molin look like your shop.

<Note>Find it in your dashboard under [**Chatbot → Design**](https://molin.ai/app/design).</Note>

## What you can customize

| Section | What it controls |
| ---------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Change your AI's name and appearance** | The AI's name, profile picture, color, and dark mode (see [Dark mode customization](/home/general/dark-mode)) |
| **Customize bubble** | The floating launcher icon, color, style, and position (bottom-left or bottom-right) |
| **Floating bar** | See [Floating bar](/home/widget/floating-bar) |
| **Add conversation starters** | See [Conversation starters](/home/widget/conversation-starters) |
| **Show pop-up** | A small message next to the bubble that nudges people to start a chat |

## Best practices

* **Use your brand color** so the chatbot fits in with the rest of your site.
* **Profile picture should be square.** SVG or PNG with a transparent background works best. Max file size is 2 MB.
* **Bubble position** is bottom-right by default. Move it to bottom-left if you already have a button there.
* **Check on mobile.** On phones the chat opens full-screen, so make sure your name and color still look right.

## Removing "Powered by Molin"

The "Powered by Molin" badge can be removed on paid plans under the [**Powered by Molin AI**](https://molin.ai/app/design) section of the Design page.

## Live preview

Every change shows up in the preview pane immediately. Nothing goes live on your site until you click **Save** in that section.
